Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (often called Ice Age 3) is a fun animated adventure movie. It came out on July 1, 2009. This film is the third one in the popular Ice Age series. Blue Sky Studios made the movie, and 20th Century Fox released it. You could even watch it in special RealD 3D theaters!

In the movie, our favorite characters Manny, Diego, Ellie, Crash, and Eddie go on an exciting trip. They find a secret world hidden underground, full of dinosaurs! They need to save their friend Sid, who was taken by a mother T-Rex because he "kidnapped" her baby dinosaurs. An unusual one-eyed weasel named Buck helps them on their wild adventure.

This movie is the third part of the Ice Age story, which started in 2002. Other movies in the series include Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006), Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), and Ice Age: Collision Course (2016).

The movie was very popular with audiences. It cost about $90 million to make, but it earned a huge amount of money worldwide, over $886 million! In 2017, it was one of the highest-earning movies ever.
