The letter Em (М, м) is the twelfth letter in the Cyrillic alphabet. It makes an "m" sound, just like the letter M in English words such as "mom" or "milk."
This letter came from the Greek letter mu. It looks and sounds very similar to the Roman letter M that we use every day.
