Emeraude Toubia was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She grew up in Brownsville, Texas, as an only child. Her mother, Mirta Sonia, was born in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico. Her father, Gaby Toubia, has Lebanese American roots.

As a child, Emeraude trained professionally in many types of dance. These included classical ballet, flamenco, belly dance, and lyrical dance. She went to Homer Hanna High School in Brownsville. From the age of fifteen, Emeraude took part in several beauty pageants. She won titles like Miss South Texas and Miss Teen Brownsville.

Emeraude Toubia first appeared on TV when she was ten years old. This was in 1999 on a children's show called El Mundo de los Niños. She became well-known in 2008. She was chosen for the second season of Nuestra Belleza Latina. This was a TV show where people learned acting, presenting, and dancing. Emeraude finished as the first runner-up. After that, she appeared in ads for big brands. These included Maybelline, J. C. Penney, and Sony.

In 2009, she joined another show called Model Latina. She finished in fifth place. From 2011 to 2013, Emeraude hosted music and entertainment shows. These were on NBC Universo, like The Arena. In 2013, she started acting in a TV show. Her first role was Elizabeth in 11-11: En mi cuadra nada cuadra. This was a youth telenovela on Nickelodeon Latin America.

In 2014, she played Dulce Rincón in the telenovela Cosita linda. The next year, she was Stephanie Karam in Voltea pa' que te enamores. In 2016, Emeraude began playing Isabelle Lightwood. Emeraude supports the Get Schooled organization. This group helps students. On May 26, 2016, she visited a high school in San Bernardino, California. She met students and acted as their "celebrity principal" for the day.
