Emory Richardson was born in Marshallville, Georgia, in the United States. He was an African American actor.
He started his acting career in plays. In 1931, he had several roles in a play called The Green Pastures. Later, in 1946, he played a character named Lykon in the play Lysistrata. The famous actor Sidney Poitier was also in this play with him.
Emory Richardson passed away on February 7, 1965. He was 70 years old. He died in New York City after being sick for some time. He had a son named Edward Richardson.
