Enílton's Football Journey
Enílton started his professional football career in Brazil. He later played for teams in Switzerland, Mexico, and Japan, before returning to play for various clubs in Brazil.
Early Career and Move to Mexico
In 2002, Enílton joined Tigres UANL, a team in Mexico. He moved there from Coritiba in Brazil. However, he decided to end his contract with Tigres early to go back to Brazil and play for Atlético Mineiro.
Contract Dispute and Return to Brazil
After joining Atlético Mineiro, Enílton was sold to Esporte Clube Vitória in 2003. Because he had ended his contract with Tigres early, Tigres took legal action against him. The case went to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which decided that Enílton had to pay Tigres money for breaking his contract. Atlético Mineiro was also held responsible for their part in the contract issue.
Playing for Palmeiras and Loan Spells
In December 2005, Enílton signed a three-year contract with Palmeiras, a well-known Brazilian club. From 2007 to 2009, while still under contract with Palmeiras, he was loaned out to several other clubs. This means he temporarily played for different teams like Omiya Ardija in Japan, Vasco, Sport Recife, and Paulista FC in Brazil. He even extended his contract with Palmeiras until the end of 2009.
Later Career Clubs
After his time with Palmeiras, Enílton continued to play for various clubs. In January 2010, he joined Paysandu. Later that year, in March, he moved to Brasiliense, where he played until May 2011. He was released from Brasiliense in January 2011.
In 2012, Enílton signed with Bangu to play in the Rio de Janeiro state league. In February of the same year, he joined Comercial de Ribeirão Preto.
