Encanto is a hilly urban neighborhood in San Diego, California. Its name means "Charm" in Spanish. It is located in the southeastern part of the city.

Encanto is surrounded by several other communities. To the north, you'll find California State Route 94, Oak Park, and Broadway Heights. To the south is O'Farrell, also known as South Encanto. On the west side are Emerald Hills and Valencia Park. To the east, Encanto borders the city of Lemon Grove.

The name Encanto can refer to just the neighborhood itself. However, it sometimes refers to a larger group of neighborhoods. This larger area is called the Chollas Valley planning area.

The Chollas Valley planning area includes eight neighborhoods. These are Alta Vista, Broadway Heights, Chollas View, Emerald Hills, Lincoln Park, O'Farrell, Valencia Park, and Encanto itself.
