Studying Biochemistry
Enma Iranzo Martín studied at the Complutense University of Madrid. In 1982, she earned her degree in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry. This field combines the study of medicines with how living things work.
Advanced Studies and Research
She continued her studies and earned a PhD in Biochemistry. Her research focused on several areas. These included how the body controls its processes and the effects of pollution. She also studied the brain and blood. In February 1985, she even studied in the United States. She worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
Working in Chemistry
Before becoming a politician, Enma Iranzo Martín worked as a researcher. From 1982 to 1985, she was at the Centre for Energy Environment and Technology. She also worked for the Nuclear Energy Board.
