The Ennedi-Ouest Region (which means Western Ennedi) is one of the twenty-three regions in the country of Chad. It is located in the northern part of Chad.
This region was formed in 2012. It was created from the western part of what used to be the Ennedi Region. The capital city of Ennedi-Ouest is Fada.

The Governor of Ennedi-Ouest
The current governor of the Ennedi-Ouest Region is Mornadji Mbaïssanébé Kar-Ouba. He has a background in the military, having served as a general in the Chadian Air Force. He also used to be the governor of another region called Moyen-Chari Region.
