About Enric Martínez-Castignani
Enric Martínez-Castignani's family comes from Senigallia, Italy. He grew up to be a very skilled musician. He finished his studies with high honors in Barcelona and also at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim, Germany.
During his studies, Enric learned from many famous teachers. Some of his voice teachers included Gérard Souzay and Carlos Chausson. He also learned about conducting choirs and orchestras from experts like Pierre Cao and Eric Ericson.
Enric's Music Career
Enric Martínez-Castignani started his opera career in 1992. His very first role was Ottone in an opera called L’Incoronazione di Poppea. Since then, he has performed in many different cities around the world. He has sung in places like Madrid and Barcelona in Spain, and also in Israel, Budapest, and Tokyo.
He has worked with many well-known conductors, who are the leaders of the orchestra. Some of these conductors include George Pehlivanian and Alberto Zedda. Enric has also given special concerts, called recitals, in famous halls like the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona and the Suntory Hall in Tokyo. He often performed with the pianist Dalton Baldwin.
For several years, Enric has also used his voice to help others. He has worked with groups that support human rights around the world.
