Playing for Clubs
Eric Carrière began his professional football journey at FC Nantes. He quickly became an important player for the team. In 2001, he helped Nantes win the Ligue 1 title, which is the top football league in France.
After his success with Nantes, Eric moved to Olympique Lyonnais in 2001. This was a very successful time for him. He helped Lyon win the Ligue 1 title three times in a row! They won in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
In 2004, Eric joined RC Lens. He continued to play at a high level there. Later, in 2008, he signed a two-year contract with Dijon FCO. He played for Dijon until he finished his professional career.
Playing for France
Eric Carrière also had the honor of playing for his country, the French national team. He played in 10 international matches and scored 5 goals for France.
