Eric Nickulas is a former American ice hockey player. He was a right winger. He played for several teams in the National Hockey League (NHL). These teams included the Boston Bruins, St. Louis Blues, and Chicago Blackhawks. He played in the NHL from 1999 to 2006.

Early Life and Youth Hockey
Eric Nickulas was born on March 25, 1975. His hometown is Hyannis, Massachusetts, in the United States. When he was young, Eric loved playing hockey. In 1989, he played in a big youth hockey tournament. This was the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. He played for the New York Islanders' youth team.
Starting His Professional Career
The Boston Bruins picked Eric in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He was the 99th player chosen overall. After being drafted, he spent three years with the Bruins organization. During this time, he mostly played for the Providence Bruins. This team is part of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Eric scored his very first NHL goal on March 2, 2000. This happened during a game where the Boston Bruins played against Montreal.
Playing for Different Teams
After his time with the Boston Bruins, Eric played for other NHL teams. He joined the St. Louis Blues. Later, he also played for the Chicago Blackhawks. In 2005, he returned to play for the Boston Bruins again.
In 2006, Eric decided to move to Germany. He signed a contract to play for the Hannover Scorpions. He played two seasons with this team. After that, he played for another German team. This team was the ERC Ingolstadt in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Eric Nickulas finished his professional hockey career in 2009.
