Erie is a small community in Cass County, North Dakota, USA. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). In 2010, about 50 people lived there.
Erie was officially recognized around 1980 by the United States Census Bureau. It is named after the village of Erie, which is located within its borders. Even though its official area includes a lot of farmland, most homes are right in the village itself.
