A Look Back in Time
This small town is in an area called La Morana. It was very important during the time of the Templars. The Templars were a powerful group of Christian knights. They played a big role in history.
Espinosa de los Caballeros was also important for the "commoner" people. These were ordinary people who lived in the area. Because of their history, the region is sometimes called "Tierra Comunera". This means "Land of the Commoners".
