Espot is a small town and municipality in Catalonia, a region in Spain. It is located in the Pallars Sobirà county. In 2022, about 377 people lived there.
Espot is found in the Espot Valley, which is west of the Noguera Pallaresa river. This area is special because it's one of the main entrances to the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. People have known about Espot for a very long time, with its name appearing in old documents from the year 839.
