Estover, Plymouth facts for kids

Estover is a neighborhood in Devon, England. It's part of the city of Plymouth.

Estover started as a small village long ago. In the 1970s, it grew a lot and became a big neighborhood. Many of the homes were built by the local council, but now most of them are owned by families. Estover is about five miles northeast of Plymouth city center.

Schools and Community

Estover has two schools for young people. They are Tor Bridge High and Tor Bridge Primary. Both schools are located along Miller Way.

The neighborhood also has a place called the Jolly Miller. This is a public house, which is a type of local gathering spot.

Businesses and Factories

Estover also has an area with many businesses and factories. This is called an industrial estate.

One of the first big Asda supermarkets in southern England opened here in 1976. You can also find a Wrigley Company Limited factory in Estover. This factory makes chewing gum!
