'Ethete is a community located in Fremont County, Wyoming, in the United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP), which is a special area defined for gathering population information. Ethete is found on the Wind River Indian Reservation. It grew around the historic Episcopal St. Michael's Mission. In 2010, about 1,553 people lived there. The name Ethete comes from the Arapaho language, where it is called Koonoutoseii.
