Euabalong West is a small town in New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the Broken Hill Railway Line. The town was started to help people living in nearby Euabalong. Euabalong was a place where people could cross the Lachlan River back in the 1870s.

The Euabalong West railway station opened in 1919. It is an important stop for trains. The Indian Pacific train stops here once a week. This train travels between Sydney and Perth. The Outback Xplorer train also serves the town weekly. It is run by NSW TrainLink.
A Notable Event
In January 2007, a big freight train accident happened near Euabalong West. A train carrying goods went off its tracks. This accident blocked all train travel between Adelaide and Sydney for a while.
