Exploring Eureka Peak

Eureka Peak stands tall within Joshua Tree National Park. It is one of the highest points you can reach there. Only Quail Mountain, Queen Mountain, and Inspiration Peak are taller.

Reaching the Summit

You can get to the top of Eureka Peak using a special road. This road is called Eureka Peak Road. It is an unpaved dirt road that starts from Upper Covington Flat. If you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, you can usually drive up this road when conditions are good.
