What You'll Find at EuroChocolate
Italy's famous chocolate company, Perugina, is a big part of the festival. Perugina is known for its delicious "Baci" chocolates. Other well-known chocolate brands, like Lindt and Caffarel, also join in the fun. You can find all sorts of yummy treats and souvenirs at EuroChocolate. Imagine chocolate-covered bananas, chocolate drinks, cool chocolate shapes, and even big chocolate bricks!
Fun Activities and Amazing Chocolate Art
EuroChocolate is not just about eating chocolate; it's also about experiencing it! There are many exciting things to do. You can see incredible chocolate art displays and try new kinds of chocolate in special tasting sessions. Street performers entertain the crowds, and you can even watch artists sculpt amazing things out of chocolate.
In past years, a giant igloo was built using about 3,600 kilograms (that's a lot!) of chocolate bricks. Imagine walking inside a chocolate house! There was even a chance to book a chocolate "day spa" appointment for a truly unique experience. In 2003, the festival created the largest chocolate bar in the world. It was over 7 meters long and 2 meters tall. This giant bar used 5,980 kilograms of dark chocolate and thousands of hazelnuts!
Where Else Can You Find EuroChocolate?
The EuroChocolate festival has become so popular that it has also spread to other Italian cities. You can now find smaller versions of the festival in places like Rome and Turin.
