Evair Aparecido Paulino (born on February 21, 1965), known simply as Evair, is a retired Brazilian footballer. He played as a centre forward and was known for scoring many goals. Evair played for the Brazilian national team and many different clubs during his career. He is especially famous for his time with Palmeiras, where he scored 125 goals. This makes him the seventh highest goal-scorer in the club's history. He also helped Vasco da Gama win the Brazilian Série A title in 1997.

Evair had a long and successful career playing for many football clubs. He started his professional journey in Brazil before moving to Italy and Japan, and then returning to Brazil.
Playing for Brazilian Clubs
Evair began his career at Guarani in 1985. He played there for several years, scoring many goals. Later, he joined Palmeiras, where he became a true legend. He helped Palmeiras win two Brazilian Série A titles in 1993 and 1994. He also won the Campeonato Paulista twice with them in the same years. In 1999, he returned to Palmeiras and helped them win the Copa Libertadores, a very important South American club competition.
After his time at Palmeiras, Evair played for other big Brazilian clubs. He was part of the Vasco da Gama team that won the Brazilian Série A in 1997. He also played for São Paulo, winning the Campeonato Paulista with them in 2000. His career also included playing for Atlético Mineiro, Portuguesa, Goiás, Coritiba, and Figueirense.
Playing in Italy and Japan
Evair also played football outside of Brazil. From 1988 to 1991, he played for Atalanta in Italy's top league, Serie A. After that, he moved to Japan and played for Yokohama Flügels from 1995 to 1996. While in Japan, he helped his team win the Asian Super Cup in 1995.
