Evergreen is located in the middle part of Flathead County. It sits on the northeast side of Kalispell. Two rivers are important to Evergreen's geography.

The Flathead River forms the eastern border of the community. The Whitefish River flows through the western part of Evergreen.

Getting Around Evergreen: Roads and Travel

Several important roads help people travel in and out of Evergreen.

U.S. Route 2 goes through Evergreen from north to south. This highway can take you northeast about 29 miles to West Glacier. West Glacier is an entrance to the famous Glacier National Park.

If you head southwest on U.S. Route 2, you can reach the center of Kalispell, which is about 4 miles away. Montana Highway 35 also starts in Evergreen and goes southeast about 20 miles to Bigfork.

For air travel, people in Evergreen use the Glacier Park International Airport. This airport provides flights to other cities.
