Evgeny Chichvarkin (born on the 10th of September 1974) is a Russian businessman. He is famous for starting a very large mobile phone company called Euroset. This company grew to be one of the biggest in Russia.
Because of his success, he became one of the richest young people in his country. Mr. Chichvarkin has received many awards for his business achievements. He currently lives in London, where he owns a special wine store. He also shares his views on important issues in his home country.

Early Life and Education
Evgeny Chichvarkin was born in Leningrad in 1974. His mother was from a Russian Tatar family, and his father was from Moscow. His father worked as a pilot, and his mother was an economist. When Evgeny was a child, his family moved to Moscow.
From 1991 to 1996, he studied at the State University of Management. During this time, he also earned money by trading goods at markets in Moscow. After finishing his studies, he started working towards a higher degree, but he stopped in 1998.
Starting Euroset
In 1997, Evgeny Chichvarkin and his friend Timur Artemev decided to start a business together. They named their company Yevroset. Their goal was to sell mobile phones.
By 2002, Yevroset had become one of the top mobile phone sellers in Moscow. They had 92 stores. The company grew very quickly. They opened 100 new stores in 2002, and 117 more in 2003.
Euroset's Big Growth
The company continued to expand rapidly. In 2004, they opened 800 more stores. By 2005, they added another 1934 stores. This fast growth made Euroset a huge success.
By 2007, Euroset had an amazing 5156 stores. These stores were not just in Russia. They were also in 11 other countries. These countries included Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and Kazakhstan.
Awards for Euroset
Euroset received many important awards for its success. In June 2005, the company won the "Superbrand-2005" award. In October 2005, it received the "Brand of the Year" award.
In December 2005, Euroset was named "The Company of the Year." The company also received a special diploma for protecting consumer rights. On September 21, 2008, Evgeny Chichvarkin sold Euroset to another businessman, Alexander Mamut.
Political Involvement
In November 2008, Evgeny Chichvarkin joined a Russian political group called Right Cause. This group was formed by combining several other political parties. It aimed to support liberal democratic ideas in Russia.
Hedonism Wines
In August 2012, Evgeny Chichvarkin started a new business in London. He opened a special wine store called Hedonism Wines. The store is located on Davies Street in Mayfair, a famous area of London.
Hedonism Wines' Awards
Hedonism Wines has won many awards since it opened. In 2013, it was named "Wine Merchant of the Year." It also won "Best Leisure Food and Drink Shop" in 2014 and 2015.
The store has been recognized as the "Best Speciality Food and Beverage Store" multiple times. It also won "Independent Retailer of the Year" in 2015. More recently, it received "Luxury Retailer of the Year" awards in 2017 and 2018.
