Evgeny Aleksandrovich Chichvarkin (Russian: Евге́ний Алекса́ндрович Чичва́ркин) was born on September 10, 1974, in Leningrad, which was then part of the Soviet Union. He is a successful Russian businessman. He became famous for starting Euroset, which grew into Russia's biggest mobile phone store chain.
Because of his success with Euroset, he became one of the wealthiest young people in his country. He has received several awards for his business achievements. Today, Evgeny Chichvarkin lives in London, England. There, he opened a special wine store called "Hedonism Wines." He also speaks out against certain issues in Russia.

Evgeny Chichvarkin's Early Life
Evgeny Chichvarkin was born in Leningrad in 1974. His mother, Lyudmila, had Tatar family roots. His father, Aleksandr, was from Moscow. Evgeny's great-great-grandfather was from the Moksha people.
His father worked as a pilot. His mother was an economist for the Soviet government. When Evgeny was a child, his family moved to Moscow. From 1991 to 1996, he studied at the State University of Management. During this time, he also earned money by trading goods at flea markets in Moscow. After finishing his studies, he started working on a higher degree, but he stopped in 1998.
Building the Euroset Company
In 1997, Evgeny Chichvarkin and his friend Timur Artemev started a business. They named it Yevroset. Their goal was to sell mobile phones. By 2002, Yevroset became one of the top three mobile phone sellers in Moscow. They had 92 stores.
The company grew very quickly. In 2002, they opened 100 more stores. In 2003, they added 117 more. By 2007, Euroset had 5,156 stores. These stores were located in 12 different countries. These countries included Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
Euroset also won several awards for its success. In 2005, it received the "Superbrand-2005" award. It also won "Brand of the Year" and "The Company of the Year." Euroset was recognized for protecting consumer rights. On September 21, 2008, Evgeny Chichvarkin sold Euroset. He sold it to Alexander Mamut, another businessman.
Involvement in Politics
In November 2008, Evgeny Chichvarkin joined a political group. It was called Right Cause. This group was a liberal democratic political party in Russia. It was formed by combining several other parties.
Evgeny Chichvarkin has been open about his views. He lives in London now. From there, he has spoken out against certain issues in Russia.
Hedonism Wines in London
In August 2012, Evgeny Chichvarkin started a new business. He opened a wine store called "Hedonism Wines." This store is located on Davies Street in Mayfair, London.
Hedonism Wines has also received many awards. It was named "Wine Merchant of the Year" in 2013. It won "Best Leisure Food and Drink Shop" in 2014 and 2015. The store also received awards like "Independent Retailer of the Year" and "Luxury Retailer of the Year" multiple times. These awards show that Hedonism Wines is a very successful and well-regarded store.
