Ewing is a small village located in Holt County, Nebraska, in the United States. In 2010, about 387 people lived there. It's a quiet place with a rich history and a strong community spirit. By 2020, the population was 373.

History of Ewing
Ewing was officially started in 1882. This happened when the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad built its tracks to this spot. The village was named after James Ewing, who was the local postmaster at the time.

Education in Ewing
In 2020, the Ewing school district joined with others to form Summerland Public Schools. Before this, Ewing had its own school system called Ewing Public Schools.
Ewing High School is very well known for its sports teams. They have won many state championships in recent years!
- They won state championships in golf in 2003, 2005, and 2006.
- The boys' basketball team won in 2006 and 2010.
- The girls' basketball team won in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
- In 2008, the school also won state championships in football and volleyball.
In the 2008–2009 school year, Ewing High School won the US Cellular Cup. This award goes to the best overall school for state activities. They also won the 2010 US Cellular Cup for the boys' division. The school has also won sportsmanship awards in almost every state championship basketball season, except for the 2010 Boys Basketball team.
