Fabienne Colas Joseph, born on March 18, 1979, is a talented Haitian-Canadian actress, director, and producer. She leads the Fabienne Colas Foundation, an organization that helps promote movies, art, and culture. This foundation organizes many exciting festivals. Fabienne also received the 2018 Canada's 40 under 40 award. She was named a Member of the Order of Canada in December 2024, which is a very special honor. She lives in Carignan, Quebec.

Early Life and Career
Fabienne Colas was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. From a young age, she showed a natural talent for theater and dance. She also had strong leadership skills. When she was 16, she became a model. She worked with Academy Perfection, a big fashion modeling school in Haiti.
Championing Culture and Diversity
When Fabienne moved to Canada, she became a strong supporter of cultural diversity. She often speaks at events and discussions about how different cultures are shown in the media. She also talks about diversity in the workplace in Quebec. Fabienne is a successful businesswoman in Quebec. She runs her own production company called Production Zaza.
Fabienne Colas was also Miss Haiti in 2000. She speaks Haitian Creole, French, English, and Spanish. She represented Haiti in many beauty contests around the world.
Acting and Directing Achievements
In 2003, Fabienne won the Golden Ticket Award for Best Actress. This was for her role in the Haitian film Barikad. She was also nominated for an award for the same film in Florida. She has acted in several TV shows and movies in Quebec. Some of these include Watatatow, Auberge Black Dog, and Trauma.
Fabienne is a member of important artistic groups like the Union des artistes (UDA) and ACTRA. She has also been a judge for many art groups in Quebec. These include the Canada Council and the Letters of Quebec.
In 2008, Fabienne directed her first feature film, Minuit (Midnight). In this movie, she also played a main character. In 2010, she was honored during Black History Month for her work in cultural events.
Since 2011, Fabienne Colas has held two licenses from the Canadian Radio-television and the Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). These licenses allowed her to create two French television channels. They are called Diversity TV 1 and TV Good Taste. Her goal is to bring more variety to TV shows in Quebec.
