Ahmad Faizal bin Mohammad Tahir (born 26 October 1978) is a famous Malaysian singer and songwriter. He became well-known after he was the runner-up in the first season of the TV show One in a Million in 2006.
Faizal has won many important music awards in Malaysia. These include the Anugerah Industri Muzik (which is like the Grammy Awards in Malaysia), Anugerah Juara Lagu, and Anugerah Planet Muzik. He also runs his own music company called Faithful Music. This company helps new and talented artists like Hanie Soraya and Aziz Harun. Faizal also leads a charity group called IAMFAITHMEN. This group aims to help people and spread good vibes.

Early Life and Education
Faizal Tahir is the second of seven children in his family. His brother, Anas Tahir, is a member of a music group called Firdaus.
Faizal studied at UiTM Shah Alam from 2000 to 2003. He earned a diploma in Communication & Media Studies.
He used to be a member of a music group called Mirwana. Faizal is not only a singer but also a composer, meaning he writes music. He has his own small music studio called Home Suite Studio in Ampang.
His Journey on One in a Million
Faizal Tahir became famous after joining the TV singing competition One in a Million. He performed many songs during the show.

After the show, Faizal released a song called Kasih Tercipta. This song was part of the soundtrack for the Malaysian film Waris Jari Hantu. He was also chosen to be the only Malaysian spokesperson for DC Superheroes clothing. This was because he often wore T-shirts with the Superman logo during One in a Million. He also recorded "Gemuruh," which was the theme song for another show called My Starz LG.
