Fakhraddin Manafov is a famous actor from Azerbaijan. He was born on August 2, 1955, in a place called Khankendi, which was then part of Soviet Azerbaijan.

About Fakhraddin Manafov
Fakhraddin Manafov was born in Khankendi. When he was about five years old, his family moved to Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. He first appeared in a movie in 1978.
Education and Early Career
In 1980, Fakhraddin Manafov finished his studies at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. After graduating, he began working with Azerbaijanfilm, a well-known film studio.
He also worked as a projectionist from 1971 to 1974. From 1976 to 1978, he was an actor in an educational theater. Later, from 1989 to 1993, he performed as an actor in the State Theater "South".
Acting Career and Awards
Since 1978, Fakhraddin Manafov has acted in many films made by "Azerbaijanfilm". He has also worked in films made in Uzbekistan and Russia. Besides acting, he has also done voice acting for films.
He won the "Zirvia" award for his role as Ibrahim Khalil Khan in the movie "A Sovereign's Destiny". This award means "peak" in Russian, showing he reached a high point in his acting.
Thoughts on Childhood and Acting
Fakhraddin Manafov once shared his memories about growing up. He said he was born in Khankendi and left when he was about five or six years old. He remembered his house being near the Gargar River. He was born on August 2, 1955, which is also the Day of Azerbaijan National Cinema.
He also spoke about what acting means to him. He believes that every person has many different personalities and possibilities inside them. He said that acting is a wonderful job because it allows an actor to show all these different sides of people to the world.
Later Achievements
In 2000, Fakhraddin Manafov was given the important title of "People's Artist of Azerbaijan". This award recognizes his great contributions to art. Since 2006, he has been a presidential retiree, which means he receives a special pension from the president.
In 2016, he performed on stage at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater in Baku. He acted in a play called "Casanova: Lessons of Love".
