Fanny Godin was born in a town called Huy, which is in the Liège area of Belgium. Later in her life, she lived in Zoutleeuw, a town in the Flemish Brabant province.

Fanny Godin lived to be 112 years old. This is a very rare achievement! She was the second oldest person ever recorded in Belgium's history. Only one other Belgian person, Joanna Deroover, also reached the age of 112. Joanna Deroover lived from 1890 to 2002.

Fanny Godin married Jacques Pardon in 1941. He was born in 1907 and passed away in 1977. They had one daughter together, named Claude, who was born in 1944. Fanny did not have any grandchildren.
