Farley is a city in Dubuque County, Iowa, United States. It is part of the larger Dubuque, Iowa area. In 2020, about 1,766 people lived there. This was more than the 1,334 people who lived there in 2000. Farley is the seventh-largest town in Dubuque County.

Farley is also home to a 3/8 mile dirt race track called 300 Raceway.

Farley's History

Farley began in the 1850s. This was after the Dubuque and Sioux City Railroad was built through the area. The city was named after the person who was in charge of the Sioux City Railroad.

The city covers about 1.62 square miles (4.19 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the city limits. U.S. Route 20 passes through the southern part of Farley.
