Faulkland is a small place in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. It is an "unincorporated community." This means it is a group of homes and businesses that are part of the larger county. Faulkland does not have its own separate local government.
Faulkland is about two miles west of Wilmington. The community has one main road called Faulkland Road. There has never been a post office in this very small area. The Wilmington and Western Railroad tracks run next to Faulkland Road. There is a spot where the road crosses the train tracks at the same level. A small stream called Hyde Run flows through the area. It eventually joins a larger stream called Red Clay Creek.

Faulkland has been a small community for a long time. In 1890, about 300 people lived there. By 1900, the population was 281 people.
During the 1890s, Faulkland even had its own newspaper. It was called The Faulkland Quiz. This shows that even small communities can have interesting local news!
