This special plant grows only in one small area. That area is Plumas County, California. You can find it along the North Fork of the Feather River. This river is in the High Sierra mountains. There are only about ten known places where this plant grows. It likes to live in rocky mountain areas. It especially likes a type of soil called serpentine soil.
