Fiambalá is a small town in the Catamarca Province of Argentina. It is found in the western part of the province, within the Tinogasta department. The town sits at the start of the Altiplano, a high plateau, at an elevation of 1,505 meters (about 4,938 feet) above sea level.

Fiambalá is located about 320 kilometers (nearly 200 miles) from San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, which is the capital city of Catamarca. Two rivers, the Abaucán and La Troya, flow near the town.
