Fischen im Allgäu is a lovely municipality (which is like a town or small city) in the Oberallgäu district. This area is part of Bavaria, a big state in Germany.
Fischen is located about 5.5 kilometers (or 3.4 miles) north of a town called Oberstdorf. It sits right on the banks of the Iller river, which is a beautiful natural feature.
