Flipz are a yummy snack made from salty pretzels. These pretzels are covered in chocolate or other tasty coatings. Nestlé first created Flipz in 1997. They used Rold Gold pretzels back then.

In 2003, a company called DeMet's Candy Company bought the Flipz brand. DeMet's started making Flipz and added many new flavors. Before that, there was only Milk Chocolate. Later, in 2013, Yıldız Holding bought DeMet's.

Flipz Around the World

Flipz are also made in the United Kingdom. A company called United Biscuits makes them there. These Flipz are sold in the UK and Ireland.

TV Commercials for Flipz

TV commercials for Flipz started in 1997. Their first slogan was "What's Your Excuse?". The first ad showed a woman enjoying Flipz. Later ads featured Greg Lee. He was known for hosting the PBS kids' game show Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?. Greg Lee helped promote the snack.
