Playing for Clubs
Starting at LASK
Florian Klein started his football journey in September 1994. He joined the youth team of LASK Linz, a club in Austria. He worked his way up and joined the senior team in July 2004.
Loan and Return
During the 2003–04 season, Florian played on loan for FC Blau-Weiß Linz. This means he temporarily played for another team to gain more experience. After that season, he returned to LASK Linz. He played 163 games for LASK and scored 13 goals.
Moving to Austria Wien
After many years at LASK, Florian signed a two-year contract with Austria Wien on April 30, 2009. This was a big step in his career.
Time at Red Bull Salzburg
In 2012, Florian Klein moved to Red Bull Salzburg. He continued to play as a defender for this well-known Austrian club.
Playing in Germany
After his contract with Red Bull Salzburg ended on July 1, 2014, Florian made a big move. He joined VfB Stuttgart, a club in Germany, on a free transfer. He signed a contract with them until June 2017.
