Club History
Early Days and League Changes
Forfar West End played in the Tayside Premier League until the 2005–06 season. This league was part of the Scottish Junior Football Association's East Region. They had a great season in 1991, winning the championship of the Tayside Junior Football League.
In 2006, the Scottish Junior Football Association changed its structure. Forfar West End then joined the East Region, North Division. This division had 12 teams.
Winning and Moving Up
The club had a fantastic first season in the new North Division. They won the championship right away! This win earned them a promotion to the Premier League.
In the 2007–08 season, they continued their success. They finished as runners-up in the East Premier League. This result meant they were promoted again, this time to the Super League. However, they were relegated back down the very next season.
A Short Break and Return
In the 2011–12 season, the club faced some challenges. They lost several players and coaching staff. Because of this, they could not put a team together for two games. On October 18, 2011, the club announced they would take a break. They withdrew from all games for the rest of that season.
But Forfar West End made a comeback the next season! They returned to the East Region North Division. Over the next five seasons, they worked hard. They earned two more promotions. By the 2017–18 season, they were back in the East Super League.
