Where is Fort Myers Shores?
Fort Myers Shores is located in the northeastern part of Lee County, Florida. It sits right on the south side of the Caloosahatchee River, which is a large river in Florida.

To the east of Fort Myers Shores is another community called Olga. Main roads help connect Fort Myers Shores to other places:
- Florida State Road 80 runs along the southern edge of the community. It can take you about 20 miles (32 km) east to LaBelle. Or, if you go southwest for about 10 miles (16 km), you'll reach the center of Fort Myers, which is the main city in Lee County.
- State Road 31 is on the western side of Fort Myers Shores. This road goes north for about 38 miles (61 km) to Arcadia.
