Four Eyes! facts for kids

Four Eyes! is a fun animated series made by teams from Britain, France, and America. It was created by Darryl Kluskowski for PorchLight Entertainment and Pictor Media. The show first aired on January 2, 2006.

What's the Show About?

The story is about an alien girl named Emma. She's sent to Earth by her parents. Her mission? To repeat the fifth grade! Emma isn't always super friendly, but she learns a lot about being human.

Meet the Characters!

This show has many interesting characters, from aliens to school snobs.

Emma, the Alien Girl

• Emma (voiced by Jules de Jongh) is an 11-year-old girl from the planet Albacore 7. Her parents sent her to Payne Academy boarding school. She had to repeat the fifth grade because she didn't do well back home.
• Emma usually looks like a squid! But she has special glasses that change her into a human.
• As a human, Emma looks like a typical "geek." She has buck teeth and wears glasses.
• She has many cool alien powers. These include psychic abilities and shooting beams from her fingers. She can also hold her breath for a very long time.
• One important thing to know: Emma is very allergic to dairy products.

Emma's Best Friends

• Skyler (voiced by Eric Myers) and Pete (voiced by Lizzie Waterworth) are Emma's best friends. They are the only ones who know her big secret.
• Both Skyler and Pete are smart "nerds." Pete can get very worried and dramatic sometimes. Skyler, though, is usually much calmer.
• Like Emma, they both wear glasses. Pete has a crush on another girl named Isabelle.

The School Snobs

• Alexis and Roland Billingsford (voiced by Lizzie Waterworth and Regina Candler) are the school's "snobs." They think they are better than everyone else.
• Both of them don't like Emma. Alexis especially tries to cause trouble for her.
• Later, we find out Roland isn't as mean as he seems. His sister, Alexis, actually pushes him to be a bully.

Other Students and Teachers

• Redgar (voiced by Eric Myers) is the star of the soccer team at Withering Vine school. Emma has a crush on him!
• Redgar has been very nice to Emma. He even invited her to watch a football game once.
• In one episode, Emma got very jealous when Redgar showed interest in another girl. This made her turn into a scary monster!
• Isabelle is a student at Payne Academy. Pete has a crush on her.
• Miss Dowager (voiced by Joanna Ruiz) is a very strict teacher at Payne Academy. She loves the Billingsford twins. But she always looks for reasons to give Emma and her friends detention.
• It's later revealed that she dislikes Emma because her last boyfriend left her for someone with the same name.
• Coach Stebbins (voiced by Tom Clarke Hill) is the physical education teacher. He used to be in the army. He treats the students like soldiers, calling them "privates."
• Headmaster Payne (voiced by Tom Clarke Hill) is the head of Payne Academy. He is a kind and easy-going man. He tries to understand his students and doesn't like to punish them unless he has to.
• In one episode, Emma even pretended to be him using a man's voice over the PA system. She did a great job!

Emma's Parents

• Emma's Parents (voiced by Regina Candler and Tom Clarke Hill) live on their home planet, Albacore 7.
• They often talk to Emma using a special communication device. It's cleverly hidden as a lava lamp!
