After his time in England, he returned to Lens in 2010. He later joined Red Star in 2012 before retiring from football at the end of the 2012–13 season. Franck also played one match for the France B national team. He once hoped to play for the Republic of Ireland, but he was not allowed by FIFA.

Playing for Clubs
Lens (First Time)
Franck Queudrue began his football journey in the youth academy of Lens. From 1997, he played 41 games for the club's reserve team, scoring seven goals. He joined the main team during the 1999–2000 season.
His first game in Ligue 1, France's top league, was on October 16, 1999. He came on as a substitute against Montpellier. In his first season, he played 16 league games and six games in the UEFA Cup. He scored his first league goal in his third game, a winning goal against Marseille. He played often the next season, but only made two substitute appearances in 2001–02 before moving to England.
Middlesbrough
In October 2001, Queudrue joined the English Premier League club Middlesbrough on loan. The club then signed him permanently in May 2002 for about £2.5 million. He stayed with Middlesbrough until 2006. He usually played as a left-back, but he could also play as a centre-back or even in midfield. He was also known for his good free kicks and penalties.
Fans liked him quickly when he scored in his second game for the club against rivals Sunderland. Franck was known for getting a lot of yellow and red cards. In the 2002–03 season, he received five yellow cards and three red cards.
He was part of the Middlesbrough team that won the League Cup in 2004, beating Bolton Wanderers. This was a big achievement for the club. He also played in the 2006 UEFA Cup Final, where Middlesbrough lost 4–0 to Sevilla.
Fulham
In July 2006, Queudrue moved to Fulham and signed a four-year contract. He played regularly for Fulham under manager Chris Coleman. However, when a new manager, Lawrie Sanchez, took over, Franck was allowed to leave. He scored one league goal for Fulham, an equalizer against Charlton Athletic.
Birmingham City

On August 3, 2007, Queudrue signed a three-year contract with Birmingham City for an estimated £2.5 million. After Birmingham was relegated (moved down a league) at the end of the 2007–08 season, one of the club's owners, David Sullivan, criticized some of the players, including Queudrue. Sullivan later apologized, and Franck accepted it.
Even though he was told he could leave, he returned to the team the next season and played very well. He was even voted player of the season by the fans and a local newspaper.
In March 2010, Queudrue joined Colchester United on loan for the rest of the season. However, an injury meant he only played three games. When he returned to Birmingham, the club announced he would be released when his contract ended in June 2010.
Return to Lens
After leaving Birmingham, Queudrue trained with his first club, Lens. On September 27, 2010, he rejoined Lens until the end of the season.
Red Star
On August 1, 2012, Queudrue signed a two-year contract with Red Star on a free transfer. He scored his first goal for the club in a 3–0 win against Cherbourg. He scored his second goal in a 1–1 draw with Quevilly. He retired at the end of the 2012–13 season.
International Football
In 2000, while playing for Lens, Franck Queudrue played one match for the France B national football team. He hoped to play for the Republic of Ireland because he thought he had an Irish grandfather. However, it was later found that his Irish relative was a great-grandfather, which meant he was not allowed to play for Ireland under FIFA rules.
