Franklin Marquieth Robinson (born June 1, 1984) is an American who used to play professional basketball. He was a talented player known for his skills as a shooting guard and small forward. Before turning pro, he played college basketball for two different universities: East Carolina University and the California State University, Fullerton. Frank Robinson officially retired from playing basketball in October 2018.

Frank Robinson's Basketball Journey
Frank Robinson started his professional basketball career in 2008. He played for many teams in different countries around the world. This section will tell you about his journey through various leagues.
Early Career in Europe
Frank began his pro career in 2008 with a team called Union Olimpija in Slovenia. He played there for a while. In February 2009, he left Union Olimpija. Soon after, in March 2009, he joined Ludwigsburg in Germany for the rest of that season.
Playing in the NBA D-League
Later in 2009, Frank Robinson moved back to the United States. On December 23, 2009, he joined the Los Angeles D-Fenders. This team was part of the NBA D-League, which is now called the NBA G League. It's a league where players can develop their skills and try to make it to the NBA.
Adventures in Israel and Beyond
In July 2010, Frank signed with Maccabi Haifa in Israel for the 2010–11 season. He continued his international career.
The 2011–12 season saw Frank start with Sokhumi. However, he left that team after only a few weeks. This was because the club was having money problems. He then tried to join Artland Dragons but left before playing any games for them. In December 2011, he went back to Israel. He signed with Habik'a for the rest of that season.
More European Teams
Frank's journey continued in Europe. On September 7, 2012, he signed with Asseco Prokom Gdynia in Poland. He played there for a couple of months. On November 28, 2012, he left Prokom. A week later, on December 5, 2012, he joined Budivelnyk in Ukraine. He was with them until January 2013.
After leaving Ukraine, Frank signed with S.Oliver Baskets in Germany on February 23, 2013. He finished the season playing for them.
Playing in Finland and Greece
On October 3, 2013, Frank Robinson signed with Bisons Loimaa in Finland for the 2013–14 season. He continued to gain experience playing in different European leagues.
In September 2014, he signed with Panelefsiniakos in Greece. By December 31, 2014, he left the Greek team. He then signed with another Israeli club, Ironi Nahariya, for the rest of that season.
Later Career and Retirement
On February 12, 2016, Frank signed with İstanbul DSİ in the Turkish Basketball First League. He played six games there. In those games, he scored about 15.7 points, grabbed 4.5 rebounds, and made 3.2 assists per game.
On July 29, 2016, Frank joined Partizan, a Serbian club, for the 2016–17 season. He played with them until May 7, 2017.
His last professional teams included Club Malvín in Uruguay, which he joined on September 8, 2017. He played 17 games there. On January 30, 2018, he signed with Changwon LG Sakers in South Korea. He played for them for the rest of the season.
Frank Robinson officially announced that he was ending his basketball career in October 2018.
The Basketball Tournament Appearance
Even after his professional career, Frank Robinson still enjoyed playing basketball. He participated in The Basketball Tournament in 2018. He played for a team called CitiTeam Blazers.
In the two games he played, he averaged 5.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. His team, CitiTeam Blazers, made it to the Second Round of the tournament. They were eventually defeated by Team Challenge ALS.
