František Rajtoral (born March 12, 1986 – died around April 23, 2017) was a professional footballer from the Czech Republic. He played as a right winger or right-back. Rajtoral was most famous for his time playing for Viktoria Plzeň. He also played for the Czech Republic national football team.
During his career, he won several important trophies. With Viktoria Plzeň, he won the Czech Cup in 2010. He also helped his team win the Gambrinus Liga (the top Czech football league) two times and the Czech Supercup.
On February 29, 2012, Rajtoral played his first game for the senior national team. This was a friendly match against Ireland, which ended in a 1–1 draw. A journalist named Mark Smith once called Rajtoral "one of the best attacking right-wingers in the Czech Republic."

František Rajtoral's Football Journey
Starting His Career
František Rajtoral began his professional football journey at Příbram. He played there for one season. After that, in 2005, he joined Baník Ostrava. He signed a three-year contract with them. While playing for Ostrava, he made his first appearance in a European competition during the 2005–06 UEFA Cup.
Playing for Viktoria Plzeň
In 2009, Rajtoral moved from Ostrava to Viktoria Plzeň. This move was part of a player exchange deal. Striker Adam Varadi went to Ostrava as part of the agreement.
Rajtoral played in the very first Czech Supercup in 2010. His team, Plzeň, played against Sparta Prague. Rajtoral was one of two players who received a red card in that match, and his team lost. In October 2010, he scored his first goal of the 2010–11 season against Mladá Boleslav. However, Plzeň lost that game 4–3.
He also played in the second half of the 2011 Czech Supercup. Plzeň won this match against Mladá Boleslav after a penalty shootout. Rajtoral came on as a substitute in the 46th minute.
Time at Hannover 96
In January 2014, Rajtoral joined the German club Hannover 96. He moved there on a loan deal for the rest of the season. Hannover had the option to buy him permanently, but they decided not to. So, Rajtoral returned to Plzeň for the next season.
Final Club and Passing Away
Rajtoral joined Gaziantepspor in Turkey in August 2016. He played for them until his passing. František Rajtoral passed away on April 23, 2017, in his home in Gaziantep, Turkey.

Rajtoral also represented his country on the international stage.
Youth National Teams
He played for the Czech Republic U21 team. He took part in the 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He played in all three of his nation's games during that tournament.
Senior National Team
His first game for the senior Czech Republic squad was on February 29, 2012. It was a friendly match against Ireland, which ended in a 1–1 draw. In May 2012, he was chosen to be part of his country's 23-player squad for the Euro 2012 tournament.

František Rajtoral was born in Příbram. This is also where he started his professional football career with Marila Příbram in the Czech First League. In 2008, he was diagnosed with a health condition called chronic fatigue syndrome. He received treatment for it for several months. This condition returned again in 2014.
