Fred Jordan, born on January 3, 1974, is an American lawyer and politician from the Republican Party. He served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, which is part of Oklahoma's state government. He was also one of the Majority Leaders, helping the Speaker of the House.

About Fred Jordan
Early Life and Education
Fred Jordan grew up in Dewey, Oklahoma, and went to Dewey High School. He was an Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank in the Boy Scouts. He still helps out with the Boy Scouts today.
In 1996, Fred Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University. After that, he studied law at Iowa University and received his law degree in 1999.
Military Service
After finishing law school, Fred Jordan joined the Marine Corps. He served as a Captain for four years. After his time in the military, he returned to Oklahoma.
Family Life
Fred Jordan and his wife, Kara, live in the Tulsa area. He is also a businessman there.

In 2013, the Speaker of the House, T.W. Shannon, chose Fred Jordan to be a Majority Leader. This is an important role where he helped guide laws through the House.
Important Work
Fred Jordan played a big part in creating new laws about workers' compensation in 2013. This was a large project that changed how Oklahoma's system for helping injured workers was managed. It moved the system to be run by an administrative group.
