In that game, he came in as a pinch runner. He later played in left field. Freddie played in seven games for the Athletics in 2005. He had a batting average of .286 and one RBI (Run Batted In).
Time with the Chicago Cubs
On March 31, 2006, the Chicago Cubs got Freddie Bynum in a trade. This was a three-team deal. The Cubs sent a pitcher named John Koronka to the Texas Rangers. The Rangers then sent a pitcher named Juan Dominguez to the Athletics.
Playing for the Baltimore Orioles
