Freddie Martino Jr. (born September 7, 1991) is an American former professional football player. He played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). Martino was part of teams like the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also played for other leagues, including the Alliance of American Football (AAF) and the XFL.

Freddie Martino Jr. was born on September 7, 1991. His hometown is North, South Carolina. He went to North High School, also located in North, South Carolina.
College Football Career
Martino played college football for the North Greenville Crusaders. He was a student at North Greenville University from 2010 to 2013. During his time there, he caught 296 passes for 3,766 yards. He also scored 26 touchdowns by catching the ball. He even scored 5 touchdowns by running with the ball.
Besides football, Martino was also a talented track athlete. He was named the Conference Carolinas Track Athlete of the Year in 2013. This was for the indoor track season.
Playing in the NFL
After college, Freddie Martino joined the NFL. He played for a few different teams.
Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons signed Martino on May 13, 2014. This happened after the 2014 NFL draft. He made his first NFL game appearance on October 19, 2014. This game was against the Baltimore Ravens. Martino spent some time on the Falcons' practice squad. A practice squad is where players train with the team but are not on the main roster.
Philadelphia Eagles
Martino later signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on August 10, 2015. He also spent time on their practice squad. He trained with the team there for a while.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Martino joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on May 11, 2016. He was promoted to the main team roster on September 21, 2016. On November 13, 2016, he caught his first touchdown pass. This exciting moment happened in a game against the Chicago Bears.
