Fronsac Lake (French: Lac Fronsac) is a freshwater lake in Quebec, Canada. It is located in a special area called the Laurentides Wildlife Reserve. This lake is part of the Charlevoix Regional County Municipality.
Fronsac Lake is a mountain lake that helps start the Malbaie River. For a long time, people worked with trees (forestry) in this area. Later, people started visiting the lake for fun activities like fishing. Because it is high up, the lake usually freezes from late October to late April. It is generally safe to walk or play on the ice from early December to April. Some forest roads lead to the lake, but the northeast part has no roads.
