Frost Township is a small community located in Clare County, in the state of Michigan, United States. It is a type of local government area called a civil township. In 2020, about 1,038 people lived here. Frost Township was officially started in 1877.

Cooperton Community
Cooperton is one of these communities. You can find it along Old US Highway 27 in the northern part of the township.

Piney Woods is an unincorporated community found along the southern edge of the township. Most of this community actually extends into Hayes Township next door.
