Amazing Buildings and Designs

Fuensanta Nieto has worked on many museum and exhibition projects. These projects are located in Spain and other countries.

Museum of Medina Azahara

The Museum of Medina Azahara blends into the landscape.

One of her notable projects is a museum built between 2005 and 2008 for Medina Azahara. This is an archaeological site (a place where old buildings and objects are found) near Córdoba. The museum was designed to fit in with the natural surroundings. It doesn't stand out too much from the ancient ruins and landscape. Medina Azahara is now a World Heritage Site, which means it's a very important place recognized globally.

Arvo Pärt Centre

Another interesting project is the Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia. This building is a special place that keeps the works of the famous composer Arvo Pärt. Just like the Medina Azahara museum, this building was designed to blend in with the landscape around it. It was even nominated for a big award called the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2019.
