Gadoni is a small town, also called a comune (municipality), located on the beautiful island of Sardinia in Italy. It's part of the Province of Nuoro. Imagine it being about 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of Cagliari, which is a big city in Sardinia, and about 45 kilometers (28 miles) southwest of Nuoro.
As of December 31, 2004, Gadoni was home to 949 people. The town covers an area of about 43.4 square kilometers (16.8 square miles). That's roughly the size of 4,340 football fields!
