Gage Skidmore (born May 16, 1993) is an American photographer. He is famous for taking pictures of well-known people, especially politicians and Hollywood actors. He shares his photos using a Creative Commons license, which lets people use them for free.

Early Life and Education
Gage Skidmore was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on May 16, 1993. After finishing high school in his hometown, he moved to Arizona.
In Arizona, he studied at Glendale Community College and later at Arizona State University. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
Photography Career

Skidmore's journey into photography began in March 2009. His first major event was the famous San Diego Comic-Con, a large convention for fans of comics, movies, and pop culture.
A year later, he started photographing politicians. He attended events for Rand Paul's campaign for the U.S. Senate in 2010. Skidmore had been a supporter of Rand Paul's father, Ron Paul, during his run for president in 2008. He even took a year off from school to photograph Ron Paul's 2012 presidential campaign.

Skidmore is now one of the most published political photographers in the United States. During the 2016 U.S. presidential election, his photos of candidates like Donald Trump were used by major news outlets.
Besides politicians, Skidmore is also known for his photos of Hollywood stars. He often attends pop culture conventions to photograph actors like Sandra Bullock, Tom Cruise, and Angelina Jolie. Many actors' Wikipedia pages feature a photo taken by him.
