Gapsville is a small, quiet community located in Pennsylvania, in a part of the state called Bedford County. It's not a big city or town with its own government, but rather an "unincorporated community". This means it's a group of homes and businesses that are part of a larger area called East Providence Township. Gapsville is found just south of another community called Breezewood.
Where is Gapsville?
Gapsville is situated on a road known as South Breezewood Road (also called State Route 2024). If you travel a little bit east from Gapsville, you'll cross into Fulton County and find another community called Crystal Spring.
The Water Gap
One interesting natural feature near Gapsville is a "water gap". This is a place where a river or stream cuts through a mountain ridge. Near Gapsville, a stream called Brush Creek flows right through Rays Hill. This hill forms the eastern border of Bedford County.
