Garah is a small town in the northwest part of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Moree Plains Shire local government area. In 2016, about 306 people lived in Garah and the surrounding places.

Garah is located on the Carnarvon Highway. It is about 667 kilometers (414 miles) northwest of Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales. The town is also 51 kilometers (32 miles) northwest of Moree, a larger regional center. Garah is also on the Mungindi railway line, which connects Mungindi and Moree.

The Garah railway station was an important part of the town for many years. It was open from 1913 until 1974. A branch of the Bank of New South Wales also opened in Garah in January 1919. The local Presbyterian church was officially opened on April 21, 1929.
